unsolicited advice: asking people to retweet/tweet/blog

  • keep it short enough if requesting others to retweet - people are less inclined to RT@Yourmomma if they have to spend time editing and abbreviating your message while driving or at work
  • if requesting someone to tweet/blog about an event, send a link to your do512/facebook/whatever upfront…listing all the details.
